If chain restaurants receive mixes, prepared sauces, and pre-marinated meats, they may not know what is already in them. My family of 8 loved going to I hop but since my allergy can be pretty severe and they are not gluten free friendly in any way, we have stopped going. But seriously, do not go to IHOP and expect truly gluten-free pancakes. The vast majority of their menu is gluten-containing. Even their omelettes are not safe for those with celiac disease or a gluten sensitivity IHOP uses traditional gluten-containing pancake batter to make their omelettes more fluffy. While their pancakes are delicious I still remember them , they are not safe for those with celiac. No idea.
